Our Story
Authentic Vietnamese, close to home
We opened Hong Mai to bring authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the neighborhood — a comfortable, uplifting, family-friendly room where you can sit back, take your time, and enjoy your food.
Bánh cuốn is our hallmark. At sunrise we ladle rested rice-flour batter onto muslin stretched over a bamboo steamer, lift each sheet off translucent, fill it with seasoned pork and wood-ear mushroom, and roll it by hand — hundreds before noon, served with crispy fried shallots, chả lụa, and a small bowl of nước chấm.
